Project:  Work was carried out on the original steel trusses, beams, columns and concrete soffit at Level 3. The task was to remove the old, degraded paint in order to redecorate.  They had tests carried out and the paint contained lead therefore we had to consider how to carry out the task safely.

Task: 

• Grit blasting to remove lead contaminated paint on concrete ceiling, steel beams and columns
• Application of first coat of primer on steel
• Top floor – Science Lab Refurbishment
